Brownwell Cavaliers is located 22 miles east of Mobile, AL in the smalll town of Wilmer, AL.
We keep a small number of Cavaliers that are our family pets.
We discovered the breed through our close friend, Denice Ray of Ohio. Our first male is CH Sedeki Sir Philip Sydney. He was shown and finished by Jody Paquette, professional handler. Jody also showed and finished our second Champion, CH Sedeki Abigail. Our dogs come from many English Imports. Both of our champions were bred or co-bred by Frank Farrar (Sedeki Kennel) of Ohio (formerly from England).
We rarely breed our Cavaliers, but was recently graced with two litters. Our Cavaliers are tested for hearts, eyes and patellas. Hearts and eyes are both tested by board certified specialists (cardiologist and opthalmologist). We currently have puppies available.
Our main goal is to raise happy healthy Cavaliers with loving temperaments for families like our own while still keeping to the AKC breed standard. Although we show our dogs we do not expect families looking for a pet/companion to follow in our same footsteps. Some just want a family companion to love and cherish. Our Cavaliers are family companions first and show dogs second. Our Cavaliers are house dogs and sit right on the sofa along with us or snuggle up with us at the foot of the bed at night. We love and adore the breed for their loyal, loving, and generous nature and we could not imagine our lives without a Cavalier in it.
